Sentinel repaint

On a 'lead adventurers forum' thread regarding superhero scenario ideas, one was floated that involved a Sentinel, a mutant hunting giant robot.  My initial thought was - what a good idea! The second was - I have one of those!! :)
After hunting it down and gluing on its hands (they are removable on the model), I undercoated it and attempted to paint it. I have to admit that I was slightly nervous about it as it is a large model and way outside my comfort zone when it comes to painting. It was slightly unwieldy to move about during the painting process and needed a few touch ups at the end.  However, I am reasonably pleased with the way it turned out.
Here it is with some other heroes in for scale.

Ironman and Thor launch themselves as the Hulk leads the way.

 Hawkeye provides some support from the rooftop, while Black widow maybe needs a bigger gun!

final set of repaints

well...for a while anyway.  It will take me a while to paint all of the dc herocliks so I will post them in twos and threes rather than 48 at a time!!!

one of the joys of repaints and rebasing is that you never have to buy the expensive version of a figure as the price is linked to its in game use.  I don't think I paid more than a dollar or two for any of them but most were around 50c each.
After I finish showing all the supers I plan on showing some modern survivors I have painted recently as this blog was originally intended to plot my path towards an 'All things zombie' game.

marvel herocliks

A while back I bough a load of herocliks from Troll and Toad to repaint.  My aim was to blog them as I finished them and, although I carried on painting them, the other part of the plan fell by the wayside.  Now that I have placed another (big !) order with troll and toad (138 new dc herocliks) I feel that I should show the others first.  Some of these were shown already but so few that I figured just show the lot again.
There are a few of them so I might split this over two posts.
